Ruby is the Silky Terrier that started it all for me in December of 2008. 

Why Ruby's the Best Dog Ever

Ruby is a very special girl indeed.  She began her training at approximately 4 months of age at PetSmart in the puppy class, graduated to the intermediate obedience class, and graduated from the Advanced Obedience class with a natural procession.  The only other class that PetSmart offered was "Click A Trick" so Ruby enrolled in that class as well and it was here that she learned to play basketball!  Today, many years later it is still her favorite thing to do with her mom & trainer.  Completeing the advanced class Ruby then tested for her Canine Good Citizen degree from the American Kennel Club as well as testing for Therapy Dogs International, both she passes and has certificates for. This is one smart cookie with about a 1000 human word vocabulary.  

Ruby when then went on and started training for Rally and competed in many AKC Rally events.  She competed with dogs of all breeds and has been awarded her Rally Novice Title, and Rally Advanced Title, and has one of three legs in her Excellent Rally Title.  At this point Ruby decided she was finished competeing and she just wanted to stay at home and become a house dog and I allowed her to do just that!  

​Today Ruby is living with her big human sissy Rae and is a very happy little girl.
